EcoIntense announces good numbers for the first half of 2017

The software specialist EcoIntense recorded a very good result for the first half of 2017. In the first six months, the company order volume more than doubled in comparison to the previous year period. This year, over 50 new clients have started using EcoWebDesk, the online solution for occupational health and safety, environmental management and sustainability. These companies are mainly small and medium-sized companies in industries such as metals and mechanical engineering, chemicals and food, but also include large companies such as Carglass GmbH, HAHN Automation GmbH and Pelikan Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. ‘Many of our new and existing customers use EcoWebDesk at several company locations and – increasingly – worldwide. The need for software solutions that can be used internationally has increased significantly. In terms of the further development of the software as well as the strategic orientation of the company, we are focusing on international expansion and its challenges,’ says CEO Markus Becker.

In the course of growth, EcoIntense has also strengthened by recruiting personnel in the Berlin company headquarters and at its Austria location. The company currently employs over 100 people. This year, EcoIntense has also started working with the consultancy firms brands & values GmbH and denkstatt GmbH, which can assist software users in the area of sustainability. The further international growth of the software manufacturer is being supported by new partners One Peak Partners and Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital.

EcoIntense has changed its name to Quentic in October 2018. As part of this change, the software EcoWebDesk has also been renamed Quentic.
